The Center for Nonprofits is a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center (http://foundationcenter.org). As a member of this nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and other nonprofit agencies, the CNP provides visitors with free public access to grantmaker directories, books on fundraising and nonprofit management, and the Foundation Center’s electronic database,  The Foundation Directory Online. The fully searchable database includes detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nation’s top funders. Appointments are not required, but reservations are recommended. Click here to reserve a computer.

The CNP offers free monthly training on how to use the Foundation Center's searchable database. See the list of upcoming trainings to register for the next class.

In our continuing effort to provide up-to-date, relevant resources to our members, the Center for Nonprofits is partnering with GrantStation to provide members with a free subscription to the GrantStation Insider! These weekly announcements will provide the latest news and information about funding opportunities, upcoming grant deadlines and much more.

Also, in addition to our status as a cooperating collection of the Foundation Directory Online, sponsored by First Tennessee, the Center will also be adding a subscription to Grant Station to our library. It is our hope that access to these resources will help you fulfill your mission more efficiently and effectively.

Have you received funding as a result of research done at the CNP? We want to hear about it! Please click here and let the Center's staff join you in celebrating the good news!
