The Animal Care Trust (ACT) is receiving inquiries for the position of Executive Director of the
McKamey
Animal
Care
Center which serves as the public shelter for the City of
Chattanooga.
Applicants must demonstrate a balance of three primary skills: leadership, business management, and public sheltering animal welfare practices. Competency with the above skills should lead the qualified candidate to exhibit proven experience in:
v Implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the shelter
v With the Chair, enabling the Board to fulfill its governance function
v Providing direction and leadership toward the achievement of the shelter’s philosophy, mission, business strategy and its annual goals and objectives
v Facilitating a positive, motivational workplace for all staff and volunteers
