The Development Director’s main job responsibility is fund raising for annual operations and special programs. The Director will also be responsible for marketing the Land Trust and communicating our mission, vision and current activities to both our target audience and the general public. There are two other areas of responsibility the director will manage; they are Organizational Development, and Administration. Qualified candidates must be self starters, passionate about land preservation, and able to work with community leaders, people of influence, peers and our board of directors. The Development Director reports to the Executive Director and works closely with appropriate board and advisory bodies.
The Director will have a very active role in our community and become the face of the LLLT so public interaction and public speaking will be mandatory. Part time and full time candidates and will be considered, and salary is commensurate with experience (Interpersonal skills, energy level, presentation, and interview will be considered in lieu of experience).
